Seed Natural Food Cafe Penang


Seed Cafe just celebrated their 6th anniversary on 1st April. Been going there for more than 4 years now and they never fail me once.

Both the owners 'Chai Hong' and 'Guo Liang' who also run the restaurant were formal journalist, they decided to start this restaurant with the motto to help more people by introducing healthy living. They never hesitate to share their knowledge each time you have a question for them. Other than that, they also sell some organic products in the restaurant and they will guide you through the benefit and usage of it.

Seed Cafe serve mostly asian food, all on the menu are worth to try. Today I had their Sat special which is Nasi Ulam(love the taste of the herbs they blend together) served with laksa soup, red mee hoon红鞠米粉 and Laksa. One of our all time favourite is their Hakka ' Lei Cha' rice(special on every Monday).< r />

Quay Cafe-Vegetarian Restaurant Penang

Wow! Only one day and here I am again!
All because my master of inspiration asked me to recommend her where to eat tomorrow.
And why here on this blog? Because it is easier for her to refer comparing to Skype and whatsapp.
只是一天我又回来了！因为我的鼓励师傅问我哪里有好吃的？说部落格比较方便她参考，所以在这留言啦！

I would like to suggest Quay Cafe which has a very nice ambience and cozy. I really like the atmosphere, you hardly find a cafe especially a vegetarian that provides you this kind of feeling. High ceiling, high table with stools over looking the street and of course friendly staffs.
Quay Cafe 的气氛很不错，食物也好吃。想说她应该会喜欢。

Been here a few time with my husband, he always has his favourie Zha Jiang Mee and I love their Herbal Mee Sua. Side dishes we had Inari and special fried sweet potato ( this is yummy!). Their homemade noodle with dumpling also recommended.
和我老公来过几次，他都爱吃炸酱面，而我比较喜欢药材面线。再点几样小吃比如寿司和地瓜，Quay Cafe 的地瓜真的很好吃。他们的招牌面也很不错吃。

For drinks, I would suggest organic black soy ( no sugar added, so DIY) and fresh juice. The juice is really worth it, RM 4 for a glass of fresh juice, unlike most of the restaurants which always added with a lot of water, Quay Cafe is very generous on using Fresh Fruits! Once we ordered 4 glasses of orange juice for 2 persons because it was too good!
饮料我建议有机黑豆奶或果汁。新鲜的果汁只卖RM4，很好喝。一般外面卖都加很多水，可是他们不会。有一次我们两人点了4杯，太好喝了忍不住。

Menu here for your reference. Everyone can afford to come, not expensive at all. Remember to clear your own table when you done with your meal, do some exercise for better digestion!
这是他们的餐牌。都不贵，谁都可以来！记得吃饱要把碗筷收一收，这里是自助的。

Where to get Organic Vegetable?

Is really hard to decide what topic to be my first post.
Then I remembered the first time we (me and master of inspiration) talked about organic food was 'where to get it'. Without second thought I introduced her "Terra Farm" located in Cameron Highland. I've been ordering from them for some time.
想了很久都不知道要从哪里开始。后来想起我朋友问我去哪里可以买到有机蔬菜。
毫无疑问，我介绍位于金马仑的“和平农场”。我本身就和他们定菜。

I personally visited Terra Farm 3 years ago and met the sweet couple also their lovely kids. A family with high passion on what they are doing and still enjoying it.
三年前和一群朋友去过和平农场，亲切和蔼的农场夫妇一家为我们一一介绍他们的农作与招待我们一顿健康的午餐。从此就爱上了有机！

Sample of a box of vege I order weekely. You will always get at least 10 different types of fresh vege of the week. Disadvantage is you don't get to choose what you want, advantage is you don't need to think what to buy! Eat what is fresh and just boil or steam if you have no idea how to cook it.
这是我们定的菜，给你一个参考。每次大约10种，都配好的。好处是不需要想买什么。遇上没看过得菜我一般都水煮或蒸再调料。
